| A study to reinvigorate the landscape along Route 66 with a series of rest stop shelters for bikers. Also known as "the Mother Road", Route 66 features a collection of roadside strip architecture that has come to represent the bygone era of automobile culture from the 20th century. This project seeks to reinterpret these existing structures using advanced digital design and fabrication techniques to provide travelers with a unique motorbike experience. | ||||||||||||
