  CONTACT Inspired by the frontal symmetry of ancient Mayan architecture, the Lucia is a modern courtyard home that is suitable for any climate.  The front court is formal. The rear court features an outdoor fireplace for dining and entertaining. The main living spaces are located on the upper level. The bedrooms are located on the ground level. Green building features include a garden wall constructed of recycled concrete. The flat roof drains to cisterns for garden use. Roof mounted solar panels are sized to power the home and a small vehicle.
