| CONTACT | The Lake Retreat is located along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in a densely wooded setting. The owners, a carpenter and a realtor were inspired by the architecture of Rudolph Schindler. In particular, the idea of outdoor living in a modern home appeals to their senses. In the spirit of Schindler, a 4' module was adopted to organize and articulate the living spaces down to the details. The upper level reading room/office provides panoramic views to the lake. | |||||
