| CONTACT | Inspired by the Northwest Indian raised burial canoe, the economical Cypress Shelter can be assembled by a crew of 3 during a weekend. The simple design consists of an 'opaque box' stacked over a 'transparent box'. The shelter has a 'kitchen box' in the main space that contains a gas powered stove and refillable water tank with a pump. The Cypress shelter is intended for vacation use, although it could be constructed for temporary emergency situations. Add-ons include photovoltaic power, a composting toilet and a rainwater shower. | |||||
